This research paper aims to study and publish miscellaneous pieces within a collection preserved at a museum store of Tell Al Faracin in Kafr El-Sheikh. These pieces were discovered in Quesna and were registered in the Register of Menoufia Antiquities No. (1).These pieces are smoking pipe No. 1120 (did the ancient Egyptian use the pipe for smoking?), five scarabs bearing numbers 1003-1007, and finally, two amulets represent the triad: Isis, Nephthys and Harpocrates, bearing numbers 1021, 1039. These artifacts are small-sized and of various materials such as Schist, Limestone, Faience, and Pottery. The scientific report prepared for these pieces by the Antiquities Inspection Authority in Menoufia dates them to the Late Period. The researcher will shed more light on these pieces with other comparable objects. |
