"118" staff and volunteers who that night helped the workers involved in the fire participated in the session run by Maria Teresa Fenoglio, psychologist, and Beppe Melchiorre, counselor. Group work, where impressions and feeling about those horrible moments were shared, was based on enabling participants to give meaning to their intervention, that unfortunately didn't manage to save those lives, and initiating the mourning process. |
