Description
Summary:The purpose of the work. Based on the analysis of a wide range of archival sources and publications to reveal the main features of international scientific cooperation of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with research institutions of Czechoslovakia of the chronological period of the 60s of the 20th century, and thus reconstruct the history of bilateral interacademic relations of academies of sciences. The research methodology consists in the application of historical-typological, historical-systemic and hronological methods, which allow to determine the type composition of documents, their information content and to reproduce the priority forms, directions and tendencies of interacademic scientific exchange, and to coverthe history of cooperations between Ukrainian, Czech and Slovak scientists. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the introduction into widespread circulation of little-studied and partly unexplored archival sources as a separate source complex on the international activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the 60s of the 20th century, in particular in the direction of cooperation of Ukrainian, Czech and Slovak scientists based on the historical reconstruction of these ties. Conclusions. Forms of scientific cooperation of Ukrainian, Czech and Slovak scientists during 1961-1970 consisted of joint development of scientific projects, consulting, exchange of experience through scientific trips, participation in scientific events, information exchange, etc. The analysis of bilateral cooperation of this period allowsus to state that it was considered as a priority equally for both Ukraine and Czechoslovakia.
