| description | [Purpose/significance] With the progress of social civilization, social science and research are becoming more and more important. Theoretically and practically, the study of social phenomena and social problems and the development of prosperous social sciences are the eternal themes of human beings. At present, social science research and achievements can hardly meet the needs of social and economic development, especially the problem of unscientific evaluation of social science results, which has aroused great concern from all walks of life, and has generated sickness and doubt in social science, which in turn has affected the development of social science. [Method/process] Based on the knowledge management perspective, this paper rethinks the evaluation of social science achievements in terms of the meaning of social science and the characteristics of social science research. [Result/conclusion] In order to correctly understand social science research and its achievements, a new reflection on the evaluation of social science has been proposed which consists of evaluation principles, evaluation perspectives, evaluation priorities, evaluation systems, and evaluation indexes. |
