| Summary: | Yarn hairiness is important quality parameter thanks to novelty of hairiness measurement and increasing of expectation from yarn, in recent years. In this study; firstly the importance of yarn hairiness was stressed after that yarn hairiness is defined and lastly the factors which effect on 100 % cotton ring yarn hairiness were examined in detail. Yarn hairiness is caused by fibre properties, yarn properties, machine parameters in spinning process and operations after spinning process. Hairiness problem could not be solved completely because of the complexity of the factors affecting on it. |
