Description
Summary:This paper describes and evaluates the regulatory mechanism implemented in Colombia for the compensation of atmospheric corrosion on the infrastructure of electric power transmission. Its present the mathematical model used for representation of atmospheric corrosion and degradation materials, plus the impact of the methodology, as well as the influence of the technical life to the regulatory life. It concluded that for areas classified as aggressive, the increase in AOM is higher than is recognized by salt contamination.
