Summary:In the title compound, C25H21NO2, which was synthesized by the condensation of 2,6-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-phenylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate with ammonia under microwave irradiation and solvent-free conditions, the angles between the central pyridine ring and the three benzene rings are 22.3 (2), 35.3 (2) and 19.8 (2)°. In the crystal, intermolecular C—H...π hydrogen-bond interactions link the molecules.
