These artefacts are united by a strong abstract character and a deep confidence in the ability of architectural forms, understood in their most essential connotation, to evoke historical events and adequately represent the values they exemplify. They are analysed according to different ways in which they decline a common commemorative program and to the relationship they establish with the surrounding urban space. |
