| description | O presente estudo teve por objetivo verificar a relação entre as condições de trabalho e o estresse em docentes do sexo masculino da rede pública estadual de Educação Básica em uma cidade do sudoeste goiano. Caracteriza-se como estudo de caso descritivo longitudinal realizado com 20 professores selecionados por critérios de inclusão e exclusão e que se dispuseram a participar da pesquisa com autorização por meio de Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido (TCLE). Para a coleta de dados, utilizaram-se formulários de identificação das condições de trabalho e Escala de Percepção de Estresse-10 (EPS-10) aplicada em três momentos do ano letivo (início das aulas; férias de julho; última semana de aula). Os resultados mostraram inúmeros fatores que caracterizam um estado de precarização do trabalho docente, criando uma pressão no trabalho e, consequentemente, situações de estresse entre os professores. Os dados confirmam que fatores como idade, tempo de atuação profissional, número de escolas em que atuam, carga horária trabalhada, dentre outros, podem influenciar o nível de estresse docente. Portanto, as políticas educacionais devem levar em conta esses fatores para garantir uma condição de trabalho que atenda às necessidades da educação, sem comprometer a saúde mental e o bem-estar dos professores.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between stress and working conditions in male teachers of public schools of basic education in a city in southwest Goiás state, Brazil. It is characterized as longitudinal descriptive case study of 20 teachers selected by criteria of inclusion and exclusion who expressed interest to participate in the research. Thus they signed a Free and Informed Consent (FC) form. For data collection was used forms of identification working conditions and Perceived Stress Scale - 10 (PSS-10) performed in three different times of the school year (beginning of classes; holiday July; last week of school). The results of the study show several factors that characterize the precarious situation of the teaching work. Thus, causing pressure at work and therefore stressful situations among teachers. The data confirm that factors such as age, professional activity time, number of schools in which teachers work, hours worked, among others, can affect the level for stress that a teacher experiences. Therefore, education policies must take into account these factors to ensure a working condition that meets the educational needs without compromising the mental health and well-being of teachers. |
