Summary:Sustainability has become a subject of considerable importance due to various environmental issues and the climate change that is hurting our planet. In the need to seek solutions to this problem emerged from ergonomics a term called Green Ergonomics to assist an adequate sustainable development. The aim of this work is to carry out a review of literature on what is known today about Green Ergonomics and its relationship with sustainability. To prepare this review recent international article were extracted from the databases Scopus and Science Direct. In this study will be presented concepts, principles and applications of green ergonomics. It was found that the popularly known in the literature as Green Ergonomics is present mainly in the areas of system designs innovations and friendly products with nature. Both disciplines complement each other with the goal of creating a sustainable environment and its time to promote and benefit to humans.
