Summary:ABSTRACT Purpose: to investigate, examine and synthesize evidence from studies on permanent education for health professionals aimed at the covid-19 pandemic. Methods: six national and international indexed sources will be searched. The review will include studies with any methodological approach, addressing permanent education for health professionals during the covid-19 pandemic. The context of health services in any scenario will be considered - national or international primary, specialized, or hospital healthcare. Final Considerations: research results are expected to reveal the topics approached in permanent health education in various national and international contexts. The review will also list the gains and problems found in various places while applying permanent education as a strategy to fight the covid-19 pandemic.
