Description
Summary:For diagnostics of LVH two basic methods are used: electrocardiography (ECG) and echocardiography. The problem of ECG diagnostics of LVH becomes almost insoluble at presence of left bundle-branch block. Echocardiography can't be used for screening of LVH. It is set that size of ΔQRS in case of left bundle-branch block determines mass of myocardium of left ventricle: ΔQRS less then zero shows absence of left ventricular hypertrophy, more then zero - presence of increasing mass of myocardium of left ventricle.
