Summary: | This article aims to describe and interpret the meaning of the use of e-readers in society, based on the Borgmanns phenomenology. The methodology used was a theoretical review about authors who address studies of Borgmann, technology in contemporary society and the advent of electronic books and its specific reading devices. From these results it was concluded that e-readers can be used according the focal practices, as recommended by Borgmann. |
