At times the accompanying clinical symptomatology mimics a psychiatric disorder of epilepsy. This can have profound effects on the prognosis and treatment of these patients. The term comorbidity encompasses all such concurrent disorders. This article reviews evidence based, peer reviewed literature on migraine comorbidities and attempts to clarify diagnostic issues of relevance to the clinician. |
