| Summary: | The tourist territory is presented as a real laboratory, due to the complexity in the forms and modes of living. The tourist spaces are able to generate different ways of being in the territory and different models and proposals for cities. We could now work on one of the key parts of these coastal tourist areas: the landscape. Along with this, the tourist architecture must be understood, recognized, valued and identified from this commitment of permeability and diversity, as a major piece of twentieth century architectural heritage. In this paper we present an approach to all these aspects in a review exercise -so far not developed as a multidisciplinary approach- where the tourist architecture becomes the true protagonist of the Costa del Sol. |
