Summary:Professional orientation in the contemporary world develops as a dynamic process, which is sometimes more complex by the great problems facing this time. Strengthen the work of orientation towards technical careers is not only a primary goal of the Technical and Vocational Education, as the current situation in the country, updating the economic model requires placing in the foreground the direction of these carreas. The main objective of this work is to sustaint from the theoretical point of view a pedagogical strategy to improve the process of professional orientation towards agricultural specialties at the university level. To study the processes occurring in Technical and Vocational Education,it is assumed as a general method the dialectical materialist, supporting the theoretical and empirical methods that enable the study and systematization of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the process under investigation
