| description | Objective To explore the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activity on shortening the time from hospital admission to operation of trauma patients in the emergency department. Methods A QCC activity group was set up, and the theme of the activity was "shorten the time of emergency trauma surgery patients from self-diagnosis to operating room". The causes affecting the time from hospital admission to operating room were analyzed, and countermeasures were drawn up, implemented and reviewed. The time from admission to operation before and after the QCC activity was compared, and the comprehensive quality of QCC group members was evaluated. Results The time from hospital admission to operation decreased from(107. 17±13. 34) minutes to(58. 31±14. 25) minutes(P＜0. 05). Conclusion The implementation of QCC activity can effectively shorten the time from hospital admission to operation, resulting in reduced mortality of patients with severe trauma.
