In the tradition of illustrated poetry anthologies for young people, these cartoons are a complex medium combining music, sound effects, animated images using a wide variety of techniques, and diction of the poem. Based on the season devoted to Apollinaire and drawing on interviews and production documents, the article examines the selection of poems and explores the way in which the directors appropriate them in order to highlight the effects of interpretation that these adaptations generate, in particular because of their narrative tropism. |
