description The “Pathinenkeelkanaku” books have been considered Didactic (Neethi) Literature. “Tirukkural” is also contained in this category. It is the emperor of all didactic treatises of the world in couplets. Morality books should be a compilation from the noble mind; the antiquity of “Tirukkural” makes it added to the Keelkanaku books. There is a place to Naladiyar on the next level to “Tirukkural”. The whole Paa (prosody) of “Naladiyar” is framed in Venba Yappu. These are in five feet or minimum feet that speak about three of either morality, matter, pleasure, or any one of these themes. “Naladiyar” has especially spoken for made up of four hundred of four feet Venba similar to “Tirukkural”. It has been popularized greatly and emphasizes determinations of Tamils in Pathinenkeelkanaku books. Jain Sages have done the art of words of familial truth. When deeply observing the contents of Keelkanaku books like morality and justice, didactic advice is vital for Tamil society. Sangam Literature and “Thirukkural” did not speak hate of female birth. But moral literature speaks with hate and diminishes the role of female birth. The familial thoughts of ancient Tamils are seen in “Naladiyar” and have been framed as the third ‘Kamathuppal’ the thirty-eighth adhikaram “General Women” and thirty-ninth adhikaram "Chastity Women" which are spoken about joy and distress and happiness respectively. This research paper talks about chaste women from select works.
