| Summary: | From the environs of Korla (East Tian-Shan) a new subspecies Paralasa bogutena haverineni ssp. n. is described, based on three male specimens deposited in the Museum für Naturkunde Leibniz-Institut für Evolutionsund Biodiversitätsforschung, Berlin (Germany). The new subspecies differs well from other known subspecies by its wing pattern (the submarginal band on the forewing upperside) and by its male genital armatures (spikes number on the valval outgrowth). The collecting site of the new subspecies is located about 700 km far northwestwards from the next population of P. bogutena. |
