description In view of the problem that load frequency fluctuation of the electrical power systems with energy storage when it is disturbed, a load frequency control (LFC) model is constructed, furthermore, a load frequency controller which bottom on disturbance observer is devised, the accommodate reaching law is used to improve the system performance. These actions have improved the immunity and robustness of the system. It is verified by MATLAB simulation that the control strategy can decrease load frequency deflection under conditions of load fluctuation with effect, and the Lyapunov principle is used to analyze the stability. The analysis shows the method proposed can effectively ameliorate the robustness and operational stability of power systems with energy storage.
