Summary: | The paper describes a method for estimating the parameters of the model of a power line by using a pair of phasor measurement units, developed by the author. It describes a three-phase model of a power system element, a derivative of the single-phase model commonly used in power flow estimation applications. The model being proposed describes – independently for each phase – parameters such as shunt self-admittance, shunt trans-dmittance and series admittance. By using measurements obtained from a pair on phasor measurement units installed on both ends of a power line, all parameters of the model being described can be estimated. |
