description The article analyzes the role of information channels in the preparation and conduct of primary accreditation of medical specialists. The author draws attention to the fact that most of the difficulties that arise when implementing this procedure are associated with an abundance of misleading and provocative information materials, as well as a high speed of their distribution in the media space. A wide coverage of objective information, based primarily on regulatory legal acts, will significantly improve the efficiency of both the accreditation procedure for specialists and the entire medical education in the Russian Federation.
