description Coverage of agricultural programmes in broadcast stations was examined. Simple random sampling procedure was used to select six (6) radio stations while three (3) television stations were purposively selected. Data generation was from 60 respondents through questionnaire. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean and standard deviation while the inferential analysis of the data was done through the use of Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) and t- test. The study revealed that 55.6% of the stations broadcasting agricultural programmes fall in the low category of the coverage of agricultural programmes.
