Summary: | Similarities of Saint Ignatius Spiritual Exercises and the individuation process described by Jung are explored. Firstly, the phases described in that process and then, the importance agreed to Christ by Jung and his knowledge of Ignatian Spiritual Exercises are reviewed. Thirdly, an analysis of Ignatius life as a process of individuation and its relevance in the origin of the Spiritual Exercises is intended. Finally, the article concludes establishing a parallel of each one of the stages of the Exercises with those of the individuation process. |
