The influence of English led to the appearance of borrowing and calquing in Quebec French. The article considers the question of appearance and functioning of phraseological calques in Quebec French. With the help of comparative analysis the author determines the differences in reference to the classical French language, and also presents various classifications of phraseological units distinguished in the given linguistic area and political discourse. |
