Summary:Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract. Although intestinal obstruction is the most common complication of this anomaly, cecal volvulus is an extremely rare associated condition. In this article we present volvulus of the cecum caused by Meckel's diverticulum in a toddler suffering from congenital heart disease who was also found to have mid-gut mal-rotation upon surgery.
