Description
Summary:The paper is based on a verse from Forood's story in the Shahnameh. Analyzing this verse, we have concluded that "red" refers to red gold and "dark blue" refers to dark lapis. The next step is to discuss the evidence for their coexistence in nature, as well as their use as decorative and precious objects in tombs, coffins, and other burial tools. The role they played in rituals has also been considered. Putting the corpse in the tomb is part of the ancient burial ceremony depicted in the Shahameh, indicating its antiquity. In performing this ritual, gold and lapis have been used both symbolically and decoratively.
