Description
Summary:The present scientific approach has focused on studying the specialized normative framework that provides for the ways of safeguarding the cultural heritage and sanctioning the people who do not respect them. The author of the paper carried out a research of the administrative systems of some European states and a comparative analysis of the modalities of the application of sanctions by the public authorities of these European states for the persons who intentionally or by imprudece damage or destroy objects of national cultural heritage. The investigation allowed us to note that the damage done to the state as a result of the destruction of the cultural heritage objects, as a rule, is much more considerable than the size of some sanctions provided in the laws of the studied countries.
