Summary:This thematic call was aimed at bringing together research groups and researchers who are committed to cultures, curricula and difference as a pure event and as a way of facing the countless challenges of current times. The focus of the dossier proposed here was the themes of gender, sexuality, class and race which deal with the difference in education and curriculum. Difference that values multiplicity and makes processes of creation and inventiveness proliferate in education. In a time of neoconservatism and in the face of reactionary and conservative educational policies, we consider it urgent to publicize research movements that seek to monitor the processes of creation and resistance in/from schools.
