Summary:The development of classifications within science is essential, they are defined by the object of study and consequently is analyzed, it can be concluded that the basis of all knowledge is a classification. This paper is to propose a taxonomy of driving styles from a car safety gradient is inversely proportional to the risk of suffering a traffic accident, this classification has been developed in two versions, one general, considering traditional dimensions of human behavior (cognitive, affective, executive, or behavioral), and another in purely executive or behavioral. It is considered that these classifications may be useful in the development of tools for the study and intervention in road user behavior, in order to obtain explanations and innovative solutions to traffic accidents, underserved problem in psychology and the social sciences in the southern region Tamaulipas and the country.
