Description
Summary:The location and capacity of a distributed power plant largely affects the power flow of the entire grid, which also affects whether the losses in the grid are within reasonable limits. The distribution problem of distributed generation is an optimization problem. In this paper, we first determine the line loss by the improved power flow algorithm, and then determine the location and capacity of distributed generation by the improved gray wolf optimization algorithm for the purpose of minimizing the loss and voltage deviation of the distribution network. The improved gray wolf optimization algorithm has the advantages of fast convergence and strong globalization. We conducted experiments using the IEEE33 bus standard radial distribution network. From the tested results, it can be concluded that the proposed method can significantly reduce the active power losses in the distribution network.
