| description | Corporate Social Responsibility plays a fundamental role contributing to the development of a community through the execution of strategies aimed at improving its environment; and for public health impacting on the welfare of the groups, because a socially responsible health institution is able to implement practices, where the central axis of the care process is the patient. The objective of this case study was to determine the Corporate Social Responsibility of a health institution in the Colombian Department of Córdoba in 2017, carrying out a cross-sectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach, for which a questionnaire was applied to interest groups “board of directors, user employees and community” determined in the sample. Once the information was collected, registration, processing, analysis and discussion were carried out through statistical and graphical charts in the form of radar.As results, the following scores were obtained for the dimensions evaluated, for the board of directors (0.75), employees (0.88), community (0.45) and the environment (0.69), reaching all lower levels of Social Responsibility; while for users (1,2) the values reached corresponded to a low level of Social Responsibility; In conclusion, it was obtained that the institution reached a lower level with an average of 0.79 because the institution is not socially responsible with its actors, since the actions it generates are minimal, and do not impact public health |
