description | Effects of sintering temperature, sintering time, amount of Ca and Si on water absorption and saturation coefficient of sintered brick were studied. Results showed that: With the increase of sintering temperature and time, the water absorption and saturation coefficient of sintered brick decreased. With the increase of the amount of Ca, the water absorption and saturation coefficient of sintered brick increased. With the increase of Si content, the water absorption and saturation coefficient of sintered brick decreased first and then increased. Optimum technological conditions for the preparation of electrolytic manganese slag sintered brick were: the sintering temperature was 850℃, the sintering time was 2.5 h, the amount of Ca added was 0, and the amount of Si added was 24%. At this time, the water absorption rate and saturation coefficient of the electrolytic manganese slag fired free brick were 15.81% and 1.03, respectively, and the performance was better. |
