Summary:Alpha spectrometry approach using solid state nuclear track detectors  of CR-39 type is considered within the energy range 4-6 MeV. Experimental information obtaining stages are described from solid state nuclear track detectors  irradiation procedure to follow analysis of individual tracks. Results of plutonium isotopes contained samples and dependence of minimal detectible activity from exposure time and spike (tracer) activity for nuclide are presented.
