Description
Summary:The fat-acidic spectra of three bacterial strains isolated from the Black sea water and assigned to Psychrobacter genus according to the phenotypical analysis and partial 16S rRNA sequence data were common for the representatives of this genus. They contained as the main components the unsaturated fatty acids: C18:1 (61,89 - 74,86 %), C17:1 (6,48 - 22,96 %) and C16:1 (4,58 - 7,26 %). C12:0, C16:0, C18:0, and in the isolated strains - 12-iso-C15:0 and iso-C17:0 fatty acids were present as the minor components. The results of phenotypical and chemotaxonomic study give evidence of the difference between the Black sea isolates and evolutionary related to them Psychrobacter glacincola.
