Description
Summary:Through the study of the unpublished drawings of the Pastoor Van Ars church in The Hague (shown here for the first time), this research approaches to the graphic strategy developed by one of the most influential architects of the Modern Movement third generation: Aldo van Eyck. The different way as in every sketch he uses the scale, the color, the outline, the symbology, the material, the technique or the point of view to represent "according to the phase or step" what he really worries about the design, not only proves the quality of his work, but rather emphasizes the power of the graphic expression to become the main architect's ally along the creative process.
