Summary: | The purpose of this article is to explore China’s international economic relations from the perspective regarding the implications of China’s current Five-Year Plan for the economic growth and the country’s role in the global economy, in a world marked by the post-pandemic recovery and China’s stance on economic diplomacy. China’s flagship economic cooperation, under Belt and Road Initiative, the “1+6” Round Table and “17+1” Cooperation with the countries in the Central and Eastern Europe reflect China’s export of an alternative growth model based on investments in infrastructure and technology.
