Materials and methods Here, the authors collected and summarized on the molecular genetic epidemiological data of tuberculous meningitis isolates from Thailand, a tropical country in Indochina.
Results On the basis of available data on isolates, the Beijing strain is the main isolate strain with estimated incidence range of between 55.99 and 66.55%.
Conclusion The molecular epidemiology summary shows that the main strain involving tuberculous meningitis in Thailand is Beijing strain. |
