| Summary: | The article analyzed the basic features of the transformation of the religious policy
of the European leaders in 2010s on the examples of the France and Germany. The main elements
of such policy are the appeal to the subject of the meaning of the Christianity for the culture and
identity of the country, the attention to the cooperation with the religious associations, to the defining of the new tendencies on the controlling of the religious activities. In the frames of the political
system that not provided the wide participation of the religious institutions in public policy that
turn of European leaders is a breakthrough and new period of the religious involvement (mainly
Christianity) in the shaping of the European culture and the common European space
