Summary:The article analyzed the basic features of the transformation of the religious policy of the European leaders in 2010s on the examples of the France and Germany. The main elements of such policy are the appeal to the subject of the meaning of the Christianity for the culture and identity of the country, the attention to the cooperation with the religious associations, to the defining of the new tendencies on the controlling of the religious activities.
