description Our article concerns the evolution of the hypothetical system from Classical Latin to French language (Old French and Modern French) and Italian language. The point is the study ofdiachronic systemics that shows how the hypothetical system has been deeply altered and reorganized by linguistics changes as the apparition of the analytical future (ex. AMARE +HABEO) and the apparition of the conditional in Vulgar Latin. The Old French and the Modern Italian keep the subjunctive mood in the subordinate clause while the Modern French introducesthe imperfect tense of the indicative mood because of the systemical disappearance of the «passé simple» and of the imperfect tense of subjunctive mood.
