description Based on the original texts of Jesuit authors studying, some samples and peculiarities of the history model codification at the rhetoric system of the 16th - 18th centuries were analyzed. Some sources of this work are published and used in historical studies, while others are only available in the libraries rare books funds, the study of the second one is in the beginning phase. Considering both groups of sources, one could reveal the consequences of introducing the history as a separate discipline in the Jesuit educational institutions, as well as the difference between works created before and after that phenomenon. It is typically, that even at the end of the eighteenth century the Society of Jesuit representatives continued to defend theocentric paradigm of the world perception. They were well-informed on the most important samples of thought and used this material to build picture of idealistic worldview. The Jesuit authors conceived the world as the God’s ideal creation and the human is very important part of it. On the other hand, the examples of the Jesuit educational system transformation is a very strong proof that the Jesuits were not always a closed and conservative group. They actively reacted on modern social and cultural trends. As a consequence, there was a tendency to information mathematization and some author’s propensity to encyclopegic ideas, what we have seen on the some texts examples. Also the intellectuals’ of that epochs picture of the world and their categories of reality evaluation were reconstructed.
