This is the first transcriptomic analysis of seven Amomum species from Peninsular Malaysia, utilizing leaves, stems, and roots as sample material. Paired-end Illumina HiSeq technology was used for data generation which includes raw data, cleaned reads, de novo assembly, and functional annotation.
