Summary: | The Welsh Government's historic environment service, Cadw (Welsh: 'to keep, protect'), released a mobile app in early 2016 so that members of the public can learn about and plan visits to heritage sites cared for by Cadw. With more than one hundred archaeological sites available for browsing, conveniently ordered by spatial proximity to the user, and with a clean and accessible user-interface, the app effectively showcases the richness and distinctive character of Wales's archaeological record.
The app is free and available to download for both iOS and Android devices (from Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store), and is also well signposted on Cadw's website.
