description The hyperelastic orthotropic material model is proposed to describe the nonlinear behavior of concrete under monotonic multiaxial loading with taking into account the tension-compression anisotropy. The orthotropy is introduced for the correct description of concrete cracking. The hyperelasticity provides unconditional thermodynamical consistency and advantages in numerical solving of boundary value problems. Identification of model parameters is based on four experimental deformation diagrams of concrete: axial stress - axial strain and axial stress - transverse strain under uniaxial tension and compression. The results of the hyperelastic orthotropic model are compared with Karpenko’s orthotropic model and experimental data for multiaxial loading.
