| Summary: | The article describes the essence of the method for assessing expediency and efficiency of investing into activities of enterprises in the agricultural machinery industry. The elaborated method suggests the presence of two blocks that correspondingly characterize development opportunities of enterprises in the agricultural machinery industry. The first stage involves assessing expediency of investing into enterprises engaged. The essence of the assessment is to provide information basis including performance indicators and financial performance indicators. The second stage, in the case the expediency of investing is justified, allows determining the area for investing resources. The reasonability of using the method is substantiated, and the importance of choosing the indicators used is proved. The possibility of using the method for assessing expediency and efficiency of investment activities of enterprises in the agricultural machinery industry for other sectors of the economy is disclosed. There given recommendations to be followed in investment assessment to ensure the reliability of its results. |
