Summary: | The purposed of this paper is to show the relationships that connect Mary with the Persons of the Holy Trinity, i.e. with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, based on the teaching of Chapter VIII of Lumen gentium, the post-conciliar teaching of the Church and the contribution of theologians. Mary is depicted there as the Daughter of God the Father, Mather of the Son of God and the Bride of the Holy Spirit. Following the teaching of the Council, the mystery of the Incarnation of the Son of God was chosen as a starting point to show Mary in relation to the Triune God because it is the moment in which the full revelation of the Trinitarian mystery happened for the first time in the history of Salvation.
