Emphasing the permanence of some of these cinematographic exhibition halls and pointing their dynamics as meeting points and places of genuinely urban experiences. And, from a broader point of view, we think in offering new understandings, uses and transformations of characterization processes of cultural identities; seeking to discuss new possibilities for the revitalization of not only cinematographic urban screening rooms, but also for the public spaces themselves that can pep Rio de janeiro cultural life. |
