Description
Summary:The article presents the main provisions of the concept of the design of the SVBR-100 civilian reactor that meets the requirements for Generation IV nuclear technologies, which is being developed on the basis of a critically analyzed experience in developing and operating lead-bismuth-cooled reactor plants. The authors describe the current status of the project and the prospects for the use of such reactor plants in the nuclear power industry after demonstrating their reliability and safety in the operating conditions of a pilot commercial power plant.
