A nun Valerie Makeyeva and the underground Orthodox book printing in the USSR
The history of the underground Orthodox book printing in the USSR is a part of the samizdat. A nun Valerie Makeyeva (1929-2007) was a member of the religious dissent. Her personality is reflected in this article, which is based on archival materials held in the Italian center “Russia Cristiana”.
